Yes, it is very like two different skills. I sometimes think that I can tell when a copy editor has had most of their experience with non-fiction.
And yes, hooray for copy-editing. It is hard on the writer but very good for the book.
These stories are only part of the whole Liavek experience, but maybe they'll make you want more.
