Oh, yes, we had bookmobiles too, and they were very exciting even though I never lived all that far from a standard library. But transportation was sometimes a problem when I was small, and with the bookmobile, it came to you, and it smelled just like the library, and it was somehow more child-sized.
Having gone right through several school libraries and through permitted sections of larger ones, I am not remotely surprised at the authors you've read.
I felt that the release date for an e-book had to be pretty notional, even more so than for a paper book, when copies are so often available well beforehand. But it didn't stop me feeling very excited when I got my own email from the publisher. And I had failed to imagine its popping up in people's email boxes like that. I'm so glad Tuesdays are magical again.
I think next to Casting Fortune would be an awesome place to shelve it. If I ever manage to finish it, my Liavek novel should go on the other side.
