"Random Jottings" has a particular literary source, but it's been so long that I cannot recall what that source is.
I associate it with Tycho Bass from Eleanor Cameron's Mushroom Planet series.
In this production, the Fool was played by Armin Shimerman.
That's really cool! I'm glad you got to see him.
