And thank you, this is very useful. I have one pair of compression socks, which I got because I have a mild degree of edema and my doctor suggested I try them. I wanted to make sure they would agree with me. I wore them three days in a row last week after I fell, and they really were good for the initial swelling. I've got more coming on Friday along with the cast sock.

They told me not to sleep in the boot, AND I AM FINE WITH THAT, but I can sleep in a compression sock easily enough.
