I dump most of my ideas and feelings on Tumblr these days: it's a terrible interface for in-depth discussion and debate compared to LJ/DW, but it's a great place to pontificate and be cheered on by like-minded people, who often have insightful things to add to the conversation if you remember to look for them. I just have to make sure to follow sensible people and stay out of tags that I know are going to annoy me.
