Have you had much black rice? It was reasonably available throughout SE Asian, but I've not seen it much around here. It usually goes for a premium price over white rice.

I don't remember seeing it in Vietnam, but that was a wee bit ago, and I may have been unaware of it. I think the only rice they grow 'down on the farm' is white rice.
