When my son was a newborn, he managed to get a UTI on something like day three of Life Outside, so we had to go off to Seattle Children's. In the way of such rather grim days (note: he was fine, nothing terrible in the end), various funny things happened, including the awesome nurse who had been intending to put a catheter in noticing that he was about to pee and getting the specimen bottle RIGHT THERE to get a "clean catch," as they call it.
