I know, I frequently reflect on how the medical profession expects so much weird and difficult behavior because if you do it just right they get information. I can't expect nurses and doctors to be at the vanguard of research, but I don't feel enough effort is being put into making tests easier on patients. I often feel, particularly with the draconian and sometimes contradictory instructions given to diabetics, that I'm basically being told, with great earnestness and the utmost good will towards my welfare, "If you would just fly for exercise, you'd increase upper body strength, improve your blood sugar, and not stress your knees. Why not give it a try?"
