I baked a pumpkin cheesecake today and forgot to put in the eggs.

It'll be fine, just dense, I hope.

And I lost a present! I have checked all of my hiding places. Past-me found a new one and didn't pass the message along. Surely I am not that dissimilar to past-me. If she thought of a new hiding place, I should be able to think of it too?

Ah, well, we are all still alive, so we are ahead of the game.
