Glad to hear that everyone got through the Weather unscathed (well, except for Cassie...) Our power was out for 26 hours. A tree went down a couple of blocks away and took out part of a transformer-laden power pole. Funny thing is, a nearby tree that is pruned into a Y shape (to spare both tree and power lines) caught the falling tree, so not only did the power lines not snap or fall into the street, the house next to the tree was completely untouched. The Y tree is unhurt, too. It was a magnificent pine tree and I am sad to see it gone. 26 hours of life like in the olden days is a small price to pay compared to losing a house.
