Thank you! It was very stressful for a while -- the house isn't really inhabitable without a working main drain, so it's not the kind of thing you can put off -- but I'd been kind of subliminally worried about it because the house is SO OLD, and now we have a 59-year guarantee and I feel much better.
Nuit is also happier. The space we cleared and cleaned in the basement provides a lot of bare concrete for her to roll around on.
