Seven hundred and ten words! Hah!
I can feel this chapter finally consenting to get itself ended. I wonder what Chapter 4 will be like. I wonder if Tor will ever, ever, ever make an offer on this book.
Until the writing got done, I was having a very fretful day, in part because the behavior of our alleged leader and his gang of criminal lunatics continues to horrify me, and in part because some scheduling difficulties are bringing home to me the fact that by next August Eric will probably be gone.
I did go for a good long walk, since it's quite warm (30 F after sunset; good grief) and there is a threat of rain or sleet tomorrow. The sky was a slightly mottled medium gray. I met a lot of schoolchildren coming home, but no people with dogs. I also had a nice talk with David about possible short-term employment and other stuff. My cat purred madly at me when I got out of the shower.
I finished VAST. Wow. Maybe I do wish that I could do that.
My desk looks as if a small tornado had hit it. I must start doing something other than not cooking.
