Fantasy Matters Convention
Nov. 14th, 2007 11:27 amSorry, I probably should have said something about this earlier, but, well, I have this deadline.
I'll be reading from Going North at the Fantasy Matters Convention at 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 17th. It's a half-hour slot, but I'm told that there is no event in the room after my reading, so I thought I might stick around for a little longer and answer questions and chat with people, if anybody would like that. If you want to hear somebody else read at 1:30 or attend a panel or something, don't worry about missing the reading. You can still come by and say hello if you want to.
I haven't decided what I'll be reading yet, but it's possible that people who have attended my readings at Minicon over the past two years may hear something they've already heard. I haven't yet found a passage from the middle of the book that isn't either rife with spoilers or incomprehensible without an extensive lecture, so I may relapse upon the readable bits of earlier chapters.
I won't be able to attend the convention proper, or even stick around more than an hour or so after the reading, unfortunately. It sounds like it will be a good one.

Date: 2007-11-15 07:36 pm (UTC)Okay, I am not an old dishrag. I am a sprightly crisp new linen tea towel, embroidered with coneflowers and Red Admiral butterflies.
