Just in case you hadn't heard, Elise Matthesen is having an online sale of her jewellery. Even if you think you shouldn't buy any, do go look. It will make things go spark in your head; it has the quality not only of beauty but of activity, engagement, narrative. I've never seen anything like it. I keep going back to look at "The Waters of Twilight are Endless," a necklace so long and heavy that she is selling it in inches. I can't afford it and don't exactly want it, having a generous abundance of Elisian jewellery already and not enough occasion to wear it; but I could look at those photographs forever, and I can guarantee that the thing itself will be even more glorious.

:) I have asked Elise how much they eat hair, since I have to be so careful of tangles. I don't think I could do $500, but if it goes down, and it won't eat my hair....
