sdn, feels terrible about the whole situation and has made herself available to me practically twenty-four hours a day for questions and lamentations.
And thank all of you very much for your kind comments. I will announce in return that I get to do an epistolary prologue, like that in Whim, if I can pull it off.

Date: 2009-10-16 01:46 am (UTC)I was in a book discussion group, and we were choosing what to read next. One candidate book was epistolary. "What's that mean?" asked one member. "It is made out of letters." I said. She looked at me funny until she realized I wasn't teasing and intended a different meaning of "letters" than her first interpretation.
