Jim Hines is holding his annual fundraiser for rape crisis centers. Detailed information is here. In addition to helping a good cause, you can win prizes, mostly interesting books, in a raffle.

Exactly what organizations you donate to is up to you, within certain parameters. And every little bit helps. Particularly right now with the complete insanity being engaged in by many legislatures about rape, women's health issues, and even the ability of women to earn a fair wage, this cause can use some help. It's got even more than usual to cope with, which is an alarming statement.

Does any of the money go to help men who were raped by men?

The money goes where you send it; as I said above, you pick the beneficiary of your donation, though obviously if you give money to the Environmental Working Group or or some other worthy cause not associated with rape, you aren't likely to be deemed eligible for the raffles. Jim specifically mentions the organization RAINN, which is for all victims of sexual assault, and uses gender-neutral language except in its statistical sections, as far as I can tell. If you find an organization specifically intended to aid men raped by other men, I would be very surprised if that would not count towards winning books in the raffles.
