Whoo-hoo! (Book whoo-hoo, specifically)
Mar. 1st, 2004 07:52 pmSharyn just called to say that she had the go-ahead to make me an offer on Going North, the joint sequel to the Secret Country books and The Dubious Hills, and she wants to reprint Hills as well. She and my agent have to hash out all the details, so I haven't got any, and I suppose there's a dim chance that it will all fall apart, but I doubt it. I am so excited. I also want to note that the reprints of the Secret Country books are selling very well and have earned out their advances. This means some money for me in September, which is tremendous news, given our basic situation. All of this also means that I can see Eric again before 2005. Life seems much better than it did 24 hours ago.

Wooo!

And many of my gift recipients of year-end 2003, will acquire any and all of Dubious Hills and subsequent follow-ons.

Date: 2004-03-01 07:13 pm (UTC)that the trilogy is selling well. As I said in
some other thread, I'm re-reading them now, and
they deserve lots and lots of happy eyeballs.

Anyway, can't wait!
