If you want me to know something in a timely fashion, LJ is not the way to make this happen. Eric is here, and somehow we have acquired a very crowded schedule. I'll be catching up next week. Just now I'll only add that his vacation, thoughtfully scheduled by the Brentwood School District in Contra Costa County, California, has hit a long and splendid stretch of beautiful warm colorful quintessential October weather. Since the last October he spent here was like a November that had to practice extra hard, and was followed by an actual November that had clearly benefitted from the practice, we are pleased. Note for people who don't live here: November is the cloudiest month of the year and is usually chilly and wet to boot.
