I'm still working on STEALING THE ELF-KING'S ROSES, whereby we see that it has not got the grabbing power of the Young Wizards books or the Door Into books, for me. I'm quite liking it, though. I also finally finished A PRIDE OF HEROES, which is remarkably crammed with incident for such a short book; and went back to ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE, which I abandoned when discovering that PRIDE takes place earlier in the career of the same protagonist. Peter Dickinson has such flair.
I usually read much more than this. I conceive that I must be reading a lot of web-logs. (YES! I have hyphenated that word! I hate "blog" as a short form of it! Bah! Blog is an alarmingly pink concoction drunk at Minicon.)
Whoops. There goes the rest of my yearly allotment of exclamation points.
