I'm very slowly working my way through Tempest's stories, because I have to go away and cry, think, pace, or scribble for a week between readings. Encouraging her to write more while also benefitting Clarion West and the Butler Scholarship seems like an excellent deal to me.

Tempest has already met her original goal, and Cat has brought in enough to save herself and her partner for a couple of months. But more would still be helpful. Go look, if you're so inclined.

I have a lot of backed-up notes on hiking and other matters. Briefly, I got the clinic to halve my blood-pressure medication last week, and the result, while not miraculous, has been fairly remarkable. Hence my rather late boosting of the signal for all of the above, and my failure to post at all for so long. More soon, probably, although things like laundry and gardening and housework are also calling me.
