I should have posted this sooner, but I haven't had the courage to watch it. Mind, I enjoyed the actual interview very much, because it's always a pleasure to talk to David Lenander. But watching it, that's something else.

The site also contains a great many interviews with other interesting and more polished people. Take a look.

Edited to add:

1. This is a Windows Quicktime file, and at least on my somewhat cranky computer, it took about twenty minutes to download.

2. It's not Mrs. Which, it's Mrs. Who! Sheesh.

3. Wow, I really do swallow those unstressed syllables when I get tired, don't I?

That's wonderful. And amazingly enough, your voice sounds exactly as it does in my imagination. (-:

You have a wonderful voice, and a lovely laugh as well.

Yes, you should have posted about it earlier, because I would have liked to have seen it.

Now that I have seen it, I can say that your demeanor is more than fine.

There is some problem with the audio where your voice is much louder than the host's -- it's sometimes a little hard to hear the questions. That's hardly your fault though.

Pamela, I just found this an hour ago, and what an absolute treat to see and hear you talk about your books and your writing and what influenced you...how elegant you are, and how graceful.

Well, this was wonderful.

you are every bit as poised and articulate as i expected you to be and more. just lovely to watch and listen to.

this is my favorite quote: "people are always asking me 'what are the influences?' and i'll rattle off ten or twelve books..."

and you worked the word "hubristic" into conversation naturally! :D
